Holotypus: IRAN: “Aderbidjan”, s.d., Aucher-Eloy 4169 M ( G-BOIS [ G00332566 ]; iso-: BM [ BM001172146 ]) .
= Lepidium persicum Boiss. View in CoL in Ann. Sci. Nat., Bot. ser. 2, 17: 196. 1842.
Note. – Although described from Azerbaijan in Iran, this taxon was not accounted for in Flora Iranica ( HEDGE, 1968). However, THELLUNG (1906b: 168) reduced it to synonymy of the highly heterogenous L. lyratum L. in which he included the very distinctive L. persicum .
