Matthiola revoluta Bunge ex Boiss., Fl. View in CoL View at ENA Orient. 1: 151. 1867.

Type: “Hab. inter Ispahan et Teheran (Bunge!)”.

Holotypus: IRAN: “Inter Isfahan et Teheran ”, V.1859, Bunge s.n. ( G-BOIS [ G00330329 ]; iso-: B [ B100241920 ], GOET [ GOET 002638 View Materials ], K [ K 000693496 ], KFTA [ KFTA0000091 About KFTA ], LE [ LE00013109 ], P [ P00731124 , P00731125 ], US [ US00344589 ]).

Notes. – Label of the holotype sheet has the original species description in Bunge’s handwriting and was somewhat modified by Boissier.

The P 00731124 duplicate carries Bunge’s annotation “ Matthiola revoluta , m.” and measurements of floral parts, as well as an illustration of the stigma.

The GOET sheet was collected from Isfahan rather than between Isfahan and Tehran and should perhaps be considered as a syntype instead of a isotype.
