Note. – The largest genus in the family with previously estimated 390 species ( AL-SHEHBAZ, 2012) but now 402 ( BRASSIBASE, 2019) that are distributed primarily in the alpine and subarctic areas of Eurasia, North America (Rocky Mts.), and South America (Andes), with a few species in the alpine areas of NW Africa.
