Diagnosis. The male is unknown. The female is characterised by the broad, polished, unpunctate marginal zones of T1–T3, which resembles P. impunctata of the P. cincticauda species-group.

Description

Female. Bl = 6,0– 6,1mm. General habitus ( Fig. 125e View FIGURE 125 ). Head. L = 1,6–1,7mm; W = 1,9–2,0mm. Head wider than long ( Fig. 125a View FIGURE 125 ). Integument black except mandibles and malar area partly reddish-brown. Face shiny and with loose, long, whitish and greyish, erect hairs. Mandibles bidentate. Clypeus and supraclypeal area convex in profile. Clypeus strongly and sparsely punctate; surface polished. Clypeoantennal distance 0,4mm. Supraclypeal area strongly and densely punctate; surface polished. Paraocular area strongly and densely punctate; surface shiny and usually extensively sculptured. Antennae brownish-black. Mesosoma. L = 1,2–1,4mm; W (ITS) = 1,6–1,7mm. Integument black. Scutum polished; disc strongly and sparsely punctate (i = 1,5–2,0d); anterior surface often finely sculptured ( Fig. 125b View FIGURE 125 ). Scutellum as illustrated ( Fig. 125c View FIGURE 125 ). Scutum, scutellum, metanotum, mesepisternum and propodeum with whitish and greyish, erect hairs. Basal area of propodeum as illustrated in Fig. 125c View FIGURE 125 ; propodeum dull; strongly and densely punctuate; surface completely and coarsely sculptured. Marginal region of posterior truncation slightly shiny; surface completely reticulate; sometimes partly wrinkled. Wings. Hyaline. Legs. Integument reddish. Vestiture mostly greyish. Ts strongly serrate, with about 5 strong, broad, oblique projections ( Fig. 125f View FIGURE 125 ). Bp as illustrated ( Fig. 125g View FIGURE 125 ).

Metasoma. L = 3,0– 3,3mm; W = 2,3–2,4mm. Integument mostly reddish to reddish-brown; anterior part of T1 (and sometimes T2) usually extensively blackish; margins of T pallid reddish to pale; margins broadly unpunctate and translucent. T without apical hair bands, but discs of T3 and T4 with greyish hairs tending to form an ill–defined broad subapical bands. Prepygidial fimbria mostly yellowish.
