Type locality: Tomé , Chile (holotype adult, sex not specified); deposited in MACN (Pape and Thompson 2010), but presumably lost ( González et al. 2018) .

Remarks: we extend the known species distribution to 1,058 km northeast from Huentelauquen in the Coquimbo region to Chiu Chiu in the Antofagasta region, and 356 km south from Tomé, Biobío region (type locality) to Santo Domingo, Valdivia in the Los Ríos region. Spider host unknown.
