Type locality: Malloco , Chile (holotype male); deposited in Stuardo Collection (Pape and Thompson 2010), but presumably lost ( González et al. 2018) .
Distribution. Metropolitana: Malloco ( Sabrosky 1945); Maule: **Reserva Nacional Los Queules, 3.iii.2017, Leg. R. Barahona-Segovia (RBSPC); Los Ríos: **Valdivia, 21.iii.1980, 14.iii.1983, 20.iii.1983, Leg. E. Krahmer (UACH); Los Lagos: **Saltos de Petrohue, 12.iii.1991, Leg. R. Barahona-Segovia (RBSPC) ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ).
Remarks: we extend the known species distribution to 858 km south from Malloco, Metropolitan region (Type locality) to Petrohue, Los Lagos region. Abdominal triangle marks are variable in size and shape in the specimens examined. Spider host unknown.
