Record from more than 1000 m depth – PTW - Northeast of Lifou 21° S 167° E GoogleMaps , 1420 m depth based on protonymph reported as Copidognathus sp. B — Bartsch (1989).

Remarks – The quiescent protonymph contained a male. This Copidognathus sp. might be ectoparasitic in habit ( Bartsch 1989).
