Diagnosis. A wavy testaceous spot on each elytron 1/3rd from apex covering intervals 4 to 8, elytral intervals punctate pubescent; pronotum quadrate, punctate, more on basal region with short hairs, basal margin almost straight and wider than apical margin; median tooth of mentum rectangular with rounded angles; labrum slightly emarginate; apical segment of maxillary and labial palpi sub-cylindrical and coniform respectively; aedeagus stout, median lobe expand laterally on left side, lamella rounded at apex.

Description. BL = 13.90 mm, HW= 2.90 mm, PL= 3.30 mm, PW= 4.64 mm, EL= 10.20 mm, EW= 6.22 mm

Head and pronotum black with reddish greenish lustre; elytra black with testaceous spot. Mandibles, labrum, 4th to last antennomeres dark brown; 2nd and 3rd antennomeres, maxillary and labial palpi brown; 1st antennomere, all parts of leg except coxae light brown; spot on elytra testaceous colour; coxae and ventral sternites fuscous.

Head dorsal surface finely punctate, occiput almost glabrous; two depressed lines near eyes. Labrum slightly emarginate at apex, apical angles rounded with some setae; clypeus slightly emarginate. Last segment of maxillary and labial palpi sub-cylindrical and coniform respectively, dorsoventrally flattened and slightly tapers towards apex. Median tooth of mentum rectangular with rounded angles.

Pronotum quadrate, basal margin wider than anterior margin; basal angles obtuse but not sharp, anterior angles rounded. Surface punctate, more dense on basal region, punctures with short hairs; lateral margins finely bordered, explanate margin rather gently reflexed and increasing in width from apex to base. Median line fine and distinct but do not reach extremities. Basal fovea rounded and shallow.

Elytra striate punctate; intervals punctate pubescent. Testaceous spot on elytra 1/3rd from apex covering 4th to 8th interval (sometimes may cover some part of 3rd interval).

Prosternum and proepisternum with very few punctures almost smooth; prosternal process bordered; mesosternum smooth medially, punctate laterally; mesepisternum smooth except the area bordering mesosternum where punctures are present; metasternum smooth medially punctate laterally; metepisternum punctate. First two abdominal sternites finely punctate, remaining segments almost smooth.

Aedeagus stout; median lobe gradually bent near base; apical lamella small, apex rounded, bent ventrally; length of apical portion long.
