Diagnosis. Elytra dark blue without fascia or spots, elytral intervals smooth with few setiferous punctures; pronotum quadrate, moderately uniformly punctate; median tooth of mentum bifid; labrum emarginate at apex; apical segment of maxillary and labial palpi sub-cylindrical and coniform respectively; aedeagus slender; lamella sub-truncate at apex, apical portion long.

Description. BL = 10.72 mm, HW= 2.12 mm, PL= 2.32 mm, PW= 3.04 mm, EL= 6.42 mm, EW= 5.84 mm

Head and pronotum black with iridescence of coppery and metallic green; elytra dark blue colour; labrum, 4th to last antennomere, legs except coxae fuscous; mandibles piceous; antennomeres 2-3, labial and maxillary palpi dark brown; 1st antennomere light brown. Ventral sternites black.

Head frons finely punctate medially punctate laterally, few longitudinal depressed lines near the eyes; vertex punctate; occiput almost impunctate. Labrum emarginate at apex, apical angles rounded, fine setae present on either side; clypeus slightly emarginate at apex. Frontal fovea shallow. Apical segment of maxillary and labial palpi sub-cylindrical and coniform respectively, dorso-ventrally flattened, truncate at apex; median tooth of mentum bifid.

Pronotum quadrate, surface moderately uniformly punctate, glabrous, punctures with few indistinct hairs; lateral margins finely bordered, explanate margin rather gently reflexed and increasing in width from apex to base. Median line fine and distinct but do not reach extremities. Basal fovea deep almost reaching basal margin. Basal margin wider than anterior margin; basal angles obtuse but not sharp, apical angles rounded.

Elytra striate punctate, intervals smooth with few punctures having short setae distributed here and there.

Prosternum coarsely punctate; proepisternum sparsely punctate of which the punctures have short setae/hairs; prosternal process bordered; mesosternum and metasternum impunctate medially, coarsely punctate laterally; mesepisternum and metepisternum punctate, punctures with short pubescence. Abdominal sternites moderately punctate with short hairs.

Aedeagus slender; median lobe very much curved near base; apex of apical lamella almost sub-truncate; apical portion elongate.
