Diagnosis. Elytra black with a greenish tinge on striae, basal and lateral margins, no fasciae or spots, intervals smooth with a row of faintly indicated setiferous punctures on either side of striae; pronotum green, quadrate, glabrous with few punctures; third segment of antennae longer than the combined length of the first and second segments; median tooth of mentum emarginate at apex; labrum slightly emarginate at apex; apical of segment of labial and maxillary palpi sub-cylindrical and coniform respectively; aedeagus stout; lamella subtruncate at apex.

Description. BL = 12.29 mm, HW= 2.20 mm, PL= 2.58 mm, PW= 3.46 mm, EL= 7.58 mm, EW= 4.68 mm

Head and pronotum metallic green; elytra black with greenish tinge at stria, basal and lateral margins. Labrum, mandibles, coxae and antennomeres 4 to 11 dark brown colour; labial and maxillary palpi, first three antennomeres and other parts of leg brown colour. Ventral surface fuscous colour.

Head with frons impunctate medially, very few punctures laterally; vertex punctate, punctures minute; frontoclypeal suture visible; frontal fovea shallow. Labrum very slightly emarginate at apex with rounded apical angles, fine setae present on either side; clypeus almost truncate. Apical segment of maxillary and labial palpi subcylindrical and coniform respectively, almost dorsoventrally flattened and slightly tapering towards apex. Median tooth of mentum emarginate at apex.

Pronotum quadrate, wider than long glabrous and with few punctures. Lateral margins finely bordered and explanate. Median line prominent, basal fovea moderately deep, not reaching base. Basal margin wider than anterior margin; basal angles obtuse but not sharp, apical angles rounded.

Elytra striate punctate with a row of faintly indicated setiferous punctures present on either side of stria on apical 1/3rd, 9th interval and lateral margins, more evenly pubescent near apex. Row of setiferous punctures not so prominent on other parts of elytra.

Prosternum and proepisternum with moderate setiferous punctures, prosternal process faintly bordered. Meso and mesepisternum smooth except near coxa and apical half of mesepisternum which has setiferous punctures. Metasternum impunctate medially, with setiferous punctures laterally; metepisternum with setiferous punctures. Abdominal sternites impunctate medially, punctate pubescent laterally.

Aedeagus stout; median lobe abruptly bent near base; length of apical portion short; apex of apical lamella subtruncate with rounded angles.
