Type material examined. Syntypes: 1 ♂ “N. E. Burma Kambaiti 7000 ft. 25-27/4/1934 R. Malaise / ♂ / Cotype/ N.E. Burma R. Malaise B. M. 1945-71/ Serica lupina co-type Arrow” ( BMNH) , 1 ♂ “N. E. Burma Kambaiti 7000 ft. 25-27/4/1934 R. Malaise / ♂ / Serica lupina co-type Arrow” ( NHRS) .

Remarks. Unfortunately, we had no borrowed type specimens or any additional specimens for a redescription at hand when finalizing this revision. Images shown here date back to 2007 when D.A. visited the NHRS.
