Distribution. The species is possibly endemic to Corsica.

Remarks. Geodromicus corsicus based was originally described on the holotype and four paratypes from “ Corse: forêt de Vissavona, 850 m …”. Zanetti (1995) noted it with a question mark for Sardinia in the checklist of Staphylinidae of Italy. Habitus as in Fig. 8 . Aedeagus as in Figs. 29–30 .
