THE GROUp IS COMpOSEd Of fEW ENdEMIC SpECIES fROM THE IBERIAN PENINSULA. IT IS THE SISTER GROUp TO THE T. goettingensis COMpLEX BASEd ON THE MOLECULAR pHYLOGENY Of Timarcha (GÓMEZ-ZURITA 2004).
