VI.2016 ; 2 males, 3 females, 20. VI.2016; 2 males, 1 female, 18.IX.2015; 1 male, 3 females, 23.VIII.2016; 2 males, 3 females, all same locality, 20.X.2016 ; Gyeongnam Province: 1 male, Mangasan A, 6.IX.1997 ; Jejudo Province: 1 male, Hallasan, 27.VII.1994 , all same collector.
Distribution. Korea (Central, South, Jejudo), Japan, China, Borneo, Srilanka, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan.

Plant Prot., 1986), Hordeum sativum (cf. Ishihara, 1965; Kor. Soc. Plant Prot., 1986), Oryza sativa (cf. Ishihara, 1965; Kor. Soc. Plant Prot., 1986), Oryza sativa terrestris (cf. Kor. Soc. Remarks. This species can be easily diagnosed by the reddish brown zigzag markings on the forewings. It is a well-known pest of agriculture, and as a vector of rice orange leaf disease, rice tungro bacilliform virus disease, rice dwarf virus disease and rice tungro spherical virus disease.
