Global distribution.
Endemic to the Caucasian ecoregion: Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russian Caucasus, Armenia, Turkey ( Staręga 1978; Martens 2006; Schönhofer 2013; Snegovaya 2013).
Remarks.
In Georgia the species is widely distributed and it is the most common species of the small litter-inhabiting nemastomatids. In Georgia, its known elevational distribution spans from 280 m to 2100 m (CJM); for records beyond Georgia see Martens (2006).
