N o t e s. The wood is diffuse-porous with rays of 2 types: uniseriate and wide (Pl. 2, Fig. 1) and mostly solitary vessels with opposite to scalariform intervessel pits (which are similar to vessel-ray pits), scalariform perforation plates (Pl. 2, Fig. 2) and tyloses .
