N o t e s. We did not observe any ring-porosity, as mentioned by Greguss (1969: 79), but only diffuse-porosity (Pl. 2, Fig. 14). However, based on the overall similarity of the description in the protologue, we consider the specimen as the holotype of Eucaryoxylon budense GREGUSS, 1969 .
