Mandibular palp three–articulated. Cheliped with or without exopodite. Pereopod 1 with or without spiniform coxa; dactylus either with unguis and some distal simple setae (occasionally with only one long seta) or without unguis but with tuft of sensory setae; with or without exopodite. Males with dimorphic cheliped having short carpus and very large propodus.
