Diagnosis. Body length 4.3mm. Bristles black and vibrissa long and thick. Posterior fronto-orbital absent. Head yellow with inner surface of first flagellomere black, frons infuscated anteriorly, and ocellar tubercle and back of head above foramen brown. Scutum with brown medial stripe and scutellum yellow. Legs yellow with apical segment of tarsi brown. Wing with short anterodistal spot and small infuscation around r-m. Male terminalia as described for H. campa except surstylus flat with short rounded bristles evenly and densely clustered medially on inner surface, and phallapodeme evenly thick and rounded with base wide. Female unknown.
Distribution. Brazil (Rio de Janeiro).
