Figs 15 View FIGURES 14 – 16 a, 15b, 38

Material examined: Holotype male: Victoria: Eucumbene River, below Kiewa, 22.x.1972, Zwick, NMV. Paratype: Victoria: Same data as for holotype, 1 male, NMV.

Diagnosis: This species is recognised by its stoutly triangular gonopods each with 2 large, mesally directed spines, one slightly more distal to other. Agapetus zwicki shares with A. monticolus and A. dundungra shallowly triangulate to rounded anterolateral margins on abdominal segment IX and slender, elongate cerci.

Forewing length: Male 4.1-4.2 mm.

Male genitalia: Abdominal sternite VI in lateral view expanded slightly in distal 2/3rds. Abdominal segment IX somewhat produced and rounded anterolaterally in lateral view. Segment X sharply produced and slightly upturned apically, longer than gonopods. Cerci slender, elongate, slightly clavate. Gonopods stoutly triangular in ventral view, 2 black spurs mesally at about 2/3rds length, in lateral view broadly subquadrate. Phallic apparatus simple, without parameres or spines.

Female: Unknown.

Etymology: Named for Peter Zwick, who collected the only available specimens of this species.

Distribution: Known only from the type locality in northeastern Victoria.
