Scutellera cyaneovitta Walker, 1867: 16 . Holotype: China: Shanghai; BMNH. Tectocoris oblonga (non Westwood, 1837): Distant 1899: 35, 50 (partim); Distant 1902: 52 (partim), and auct. Misidentification.

Scutellera amethystina (non Germar, 1839): Ho 2003: 195. Misidentification.

SCUTELLERA CYANEOVITTA .” [printed, cut from a copy of Walker, 1867, p. 16]; “ BRIT. MUS. \ TYPE No. \ HEM. 437.” [pink square, printed + handwritten]. Pinned; segments III–IV of left and segment IV of right antenna, tarsi of right fore and left mid legs, right mid and both hind legs distad of coxa missing; pygophore removed, macerated, phallus pulled out through genital opening but not detached from pygophore, mounted on card, pinned with the specimen; deposited in BMNH ( Figs. 45–48 View FIGURES 41 – 48 ).
