Rimularia ramboldiana Kantvilas & Elix (2007: 321) View in CoL .
Type:— AUSTRALIA, Tasmania, Hungry Flats , 42°31’S 147°29’’E, on sandstone boulders in open eucalypt forest, overgrowing the thallus of Ramboldia blastidiata , 560 m alt., 8 August 2000, G. Kantvilas 363/00 (holotype − HO!) .
Endemic to Tasmania. This lichenicolous species is most similar to the Australian species, L. exigua * 1*, which differs by its non-lichenicolous habit and the absence of sedifolia -grey pigment in the epihymenium. The relationship between these two species deserves further study.
