World distribution: Borneo, Indonesia [not India] ( Macquart 1838: 65; Oldroyd 1975: 109).

Note: No occurrence records are currently known from modern India. The only known Indian occurrence citation ( Lal 1960: 63) refers to the type locality, Indes orientales, which is considered a part of the islands of southeastern Asia not India .
