Diagnosis. Size of adult specimens about 2.5–3 mm, background colour white, dorsally with several dark spots and bands in a consistent pattern, Abd. III–IV more intensely pigmented. Ant. II undivided, Ant. III almost subdivided (antennae with five segments). Males’ Ant. Ib externally with about 40–50 modified short densely ciliate chaetae plus 10 minute smooth chaetae anteriorly, Ant. II without dimorphic chaetae, Ant. III internally with five strong long mac. Males’ Ant. II straight, Ant. III internally angled. Antero-lateral head without clusters of differentiate chaetae. Dorsal head with A3, A4, A6p, M0, M2, S2–2i, Ps 2, and Ps 5 mac, S0’, M1, and Ps 3 mac absent ( Fig. 14A View FIGURE 14 ). Th. II lacking p1i2, m4p2, and m4i2 mac, m4ai complex with one mac, m5 mac present ( Fig. 14B View FIGURE 14 ); Th. III lacking p1i2 and m1a mac, m5p mac present ( Fig. 14C View FIGURE 14 ); Abd. I macrochaetotaxy reduced, lacking a1ae–1ae2, a2ae–2ae2, a3a– 3ai2, p6, and m6 mac ( Fig. 14D View FIGURE 14 ); Abd. II with m3ep mac present or absent, 3–5 mac on the m3ea complex, m 3ei, m4, and p4 mac absent ( Fig. 15A View FIGURE 15 ); Abd. III with a2a and a3 mac, a3a–a2, a3i, and m3ea present or absent, m 3ei, m3eai, m3p, and p3 mac absent ( Fig. 15B View FIGURE 15 ); Abd. IV with A1–3, A5, Ae 2–5, B3, B5, C4, and T6 mac, Ae4, Ae8, and Be2 present or absent, T1 mac absent ( Fig. 15C View FIGURE 15 ). Trochanteral organ with about 25 spine-like chaetae. Unguis with three unpaired inner teeth. Tenaculum with 11 chaetae (adapted from Greenslade & Jordana 2014).

Remarks. To interpret the dorsal macrochaetotaxy of the posterior head of this species we only considered the left side of the original description ( Greenslade & Jordana 2014, p. 567, fig. 16).
