Distribution. United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Yemen ( BRYANT 1957, DOGUET 1979, 1984a, 1984b, MEDVEDEV 1996, LOPATIN 2001, DÖBERL 2009, BEZDĚK & BATELKA 2011). Known also from Algeria and tropical Africa: Congo, Guinea, Sudan, Tanzania ( SCHERER 1962a, 1972, POLLARD 1957, DOGUET 1984 b, GRUEV & DÖBERL 1997). First record from Socotra Island.
