Type genus: Thrasorus Weld, 1944 .
Diagnosis. Differs from all other Figitidae by the presence of the circumtorular impression. Differs from Plectocynipinae by the stronger malar furrow, the metasoma, which is not extremely compressed laterally in females, the smaller 7 th sternum, by the metatibia, which has two shorter metatibial spurs ( Fig. 4e View FIGURE 4 ).
