( Figs 7B View FIGURE 7 , 13D View FIGURE 13 , 24F)
Holotype. (♀) Indonesia: Sula isl. , Mangole, 2 km W Mandafuhi Camp, Mal. trap 19, c 70 m, 7–24.iii.1995, C. v. Achterberg & Y. Yasir, RMNH (Leiden).
Etymology. The species name refers to the rather long and slightly narrowed temple.
Description. ♀: Body length 2.3 mm. Fore wing 2.0 mm.
Head. Flagellum slender, with 24 flagellomeres; 1 st flagellomere 5.7 × longer than wide and 1.7× longer than 2 nd flagellomere, 0.7 × as long as eye; 2 nd flagellomere 4.4 × longer than wide; preapical flagellomere 1.5 × longer than wide. Temple slightly and roundly narrowed behind eye, dorsally c 0.8 × as long as eye. OED 1.7 × and OOD 1.0 × ocellar diameter. Occipital carina largely absent medially. Frons smooth. Face ( Fig. 13D View FIGURE 13 ) densely punctate, central bulging but without central longitudinal ridge, width 1.0 × combined length of face and clypeus and 0.9 × eye length; inner eye margins parallel. Subantennal transverse carina indistinct. Ventral 0.3 of facial orbit and malar space finely striate. Malar space 0.8 × as long as width of mandibular base. Mandible with two teeth, ventral tooth slightly longer than dorsal tooth. Genal carina reaching hypostomal carina away from mandibular base, both carinae low.
Mesosoma . Very stout, 1.4 × longer than high. Mesoscutum with fine sparse superficially punctures, densely punctate postero-medially. Scuto-scutellar groove narrow, 3.2 × wider than long, smooth. Scutellum weakly convex, without lateral carina, not pointed apically. Mesopleuron with dense punctures fronto-dorsally and with rather dense punctures ventrally. Dorsal end of epicnemial carina separated from frontal margin of mesopleuron. Metapleuron with fine punctures. Submetapleural carina slightly lamelliform. Juxtacoxal carina absent. Propodeum completely carinate. Area basalis trapezoid. Area superomedia 1.7 × longer than wide and 0.8 × as long as area petiolaris; anterior transverse carina (costula) reaching its middle. Area petiolaris 1.3 × longer than wide. Hind femur 4.3 × longer than wide. Hind tarsomere stout, hind metatarsus 0.4 × as long as hind tibia and 2.6 × longer than 2 nd hind tarsomere; hind claw without visible teeth. Areolet shortly sessile frontally; vein 2m-cu slightly distad its middle. Vein 1cu-a postfurcal by 0.3 × its length. Postnervulus intercepted basad its middle. Pterostigma 2.9 × longer than wide. Hind wing with c 4 distal hamuli. Nervellus of hind wing slightly reclivous.
Metasoma. 1 st tergite 2.6 × longer than wide. Postpetiolus smooth, with few rugae. 2 nd tergite 1.5 × wider than long. Thyridium comma-shaped. Ovipositor sheath ( Fig. 24F View FIGURE 24 ) sparsely pilose, stick-shaped, 7.5 × longer than wide, 0.5 × as long as hind tibia and 1.2 × longer than hind metatarsus.
Color. Flagellum brown; scape, pedicel and two basal flagellomeres reddish. Head and mesosoma mainly reddish. Palps, mandible except teeth and malar space yellowish; stemmaticum black. Propodeum mainly reddishbrown. 1 st tergite brown, basally yellow, small reddish spot apically. 2 nd tergite brown, apical half yellow. 3 rd basally and centrally yellow, laterally and apically brown. Following tergites brown. Ovipositor sheath brown. Fore and mid coxae and trochanters pale yellow; legs otherwise yellowish; hind tibia infuscate in apical 0.1. Pterostigma greyish-hyaline.
♁ unknown.
Taxonomical remark. With its sessile areolet, postfurcal vein 1cu-a, stick-shaped ovipositor and short area superomedia, this species belongs to the dispar group sensu Schwenke (1999). It is characterized by its small size, medially absent occipital carina. indistinct subantennal carina, stout hind tarsus, and rather long and slightly narrowed temple.
