Known from the Palaearctic Region. Chrysis grohmanni cyanea TRAUTMANN 1926 is a junior homonym of Chrysis cyanea VILLERS 1789. The record from Sudan is not mentioned in KIMSEY & BOHART (1990: 416) and LINSENMAIER (1999: 152).
