Ellampus (!) bidentulus LEPELETIER 1806 : du BUYSSON 1898b: 519 (? Senegal).
Known from the Palaearctic Region. Du BUYSSON (1899: 160) does not list Senegal, anymore. This record is not mentioned in BISCHOFF (1913: 8), LINSENMAIER (1959: 18 as Omalus bidentulus (LEPELETIER)) , KIMSEY & BOHART (1990: 245 as Omalus bidentulus (LEPELETIER)) and LINSENMAIER (1999: 18 as Omalus bidentulus (LEPELETIER)) . We have not seen the material, which is probably mislabelled.
