Hedychridium aheneum (DAHLBOM) : LONGSTAFF 1912: 412 ( Sudan).
D i s t r i b u t i o n: Sudan.
Known from the Palaearctic Region. The record from Sudan is not mentioned in BISCHOFF (1913: 14), LINSENMAIER (1959: 55) and KIMSEY & BOHART (1990: 186). This is probably a misidentification, because Hedychridium aheneum (DAHLBOM) is only known from Southeast Europe.
