Diagnosis. This species was described from Sichuan, China, and the illustrations of male genitalia were provided by Li et al. (2011). It is similar to P. productus but may be distinguished from the latter by the forewing with irregular black markings.
Material examined. China: 1♂ (Holotype), Sichuan Prov., Changning , 29 April 2008, coll. Hongrong Li; Paratypes , 1 ♀, same data as holotype ( GUGC) .
Distribution: China (Sichuan) ( Li et al., 2011).
Note. The male genitalia of the holotype of this species were mounted on a slide and are not redrawn.
