Endemic. Tachysphex fluctuatus var. flavofimbriatus ARNOLD, 1945 was published as an unavailable name, because ARNOLD (1945) described several subspecies (n.subsp.) in the same paper (ICZN 1999: Article 45.6.4). But this name was adopted by LECLERCQ (1960) as a valid name of a subspecies (ICZN 1999: Article 45.6.4.1).
