Remarks: The species was described from “ Syria, Alexandrette”. This is the old name of Iskenderun, which now belongs to Turkey. L. pici is said to be quite similar to L. byzantina , but in L. pici the posterior corners of the pronotum are tooth-like, whereas in L. byzantina these corners are rounded. The apicales of the aedeagi are also slightly different (compare Figs. 33, 37 ). See also remarks under L. glabriuscula .
