Type specimen: male; type locality: Neicujiang, Longsheng, Guangxi; location of type specimen: Shanghai Entomological Museum of the Chinese Academy of Sciences .

Female (new description). Body medium. Fastigium verticis conical, with a median sulcus, apex obtuse ( Fig. 3A– B View FIGURE 3 ). Eyes subglobular. Apical segment of maxillary palpi longer than subapical one, apex slightly inflated ( Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 ).

Anterior margin of pronotum nearly straight, posterior margin obtusely rounded ( Fig. 3B View FIGURE 3 ); lateral lobes longer than high, humeral sinus indistinct ( Fig. 3C View FIGURE 3 ).

Ventral margins of all femora without spines. Procoxae with 1 long spine. Protibiae and mesotibiae with 4 pairs of spines and 1 pair of apical spurs on ventral surface; protibial tympana opened on both sides, ovoid. Apices of genicular lobes of postfemora with 1 small spine on each side; posttibiae with 34–35 internal spines and 29 external spines on dorsal surface, ventral surface with 2–3 pairs of small spines, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spurs and 1 pair of ventral spurs.

Tegmina covered by pronotum; hind wings absent. Lateral margins of ninth abdominal tergite obviously protruding backwards; tenth abdominal tergite triangular in dorsal view, the lateral margins of subapical area faintly contracted, apex with small triangular concavity ( Fig. 3G View FIGURE 3 ). Cerci short and conical. Ovipositor strongly curved upwards, dorsal margins slightly serrate, ventral margins smooth, apices acute ( Fig. 3I View FIGURE 3 ). Subgenital plate wider than long, the lateral margins obviously narrowing from basal to apical area, posterior margin concave, the lateral lobes rounded ( Fig. 3H View FIGURE 3 ).

Coloration. Body yellowish green. Eyes black brown. Disc of pronotum with a longitudinal brown brand along the midline which widened at posterior margin, outer margins with 1 black brown stripe and a yellow stripe on each side ( Fig. 3B View FIGURE 3 ). Apices of femora and basal areas of tibiae black. Dorsal surface of abdomen with 1 longitudinal light brown band, eighth to tenth abdominal tergites with black posterior margins.

Material examined. Holotype: male, Neicujiang, Longsheng , Guangxi, July 26, 1979, collector unknown . Paratype: 1 male, Neicujiang, Longsheng, Guangxi, June 7, 1963, coll. by Lvlin Chang . Other specimens: 2 females, Neicujiang, Longsheng, Guangxi, July 23, coll. by Siyu Pang , Pinying Rong and Huan Meng .

Measurements (mm). Body: ♀ 17.98–19.61; pronotum: ♀ 6.76–7.27; tegmen: ♀ 2.90–2.96; postfemur: ♀ 15.68–16.97; ovipositor: 9.06–9.92.

Distribution. Guangxi (Longsheng).

Discussion. The female sex of Cyrtopsis robusta Liu & Zhang, 2007 differs from other species of Cyrtopsis by the shape of tenth abdominal tergite and subgenital plate.
