Male

Length of body 248–250 (including hood), width 142–144. Length of hood 42–46 ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 ).

Dorsum. Anterior margin of hood smooth, six dimples in each longitudinal row. Dorsal shield with 11 pairs of simple dorsal body setae, 6–26 Mm in length. One pair of simple eyes and one pair of postocular bodies, laterally between setae sce and c 2. Anogenital shields posterodorsally located, bearing three pairs of setae. Dorsum with pores and partly reticulated. Dorsal shield with cluster of cells associated with setae c 1 and d, boundaries of the cells in the rosette not evident.

Venter. Prosternal apron with 14–15 dimples, concave at anterior edge. Ventral shield with lateral faint reticulations, only evident at lateral view. Ventral surface with faint striae and pores, coxisternal portion of ventral shield with nonporous only striae. Ventral shield bearing six pairs of setae, the sixth pair set on pleural band.

Legs. Leg I 206–216 Mm, leg II 162–174 Mm, leg III 156–168 Mm, leg IV 186–190 Mm. Chaetotaxy of leg segments as follows: coxae 2–1–2–1, trochanters 1–1–2–1, femora 4–3–2–2, genua 6(K)–5(K)–2–3, tibiae 7(Q, QR)–6(QR)–5(QR)–3, tarsi 16(QR, v„)– 14(QR, v„)–10(v„)–10(v„). Addorsal setae tc on tarsi II dissimilar.

Examined materials

Two „„ from litter and soil under Quercus sp. , Yozgat, Turkey, 3 September 2001 .

Remarks

Adult male of F. amygdalus Doğan and Ayyıldız has been described for the first time. The male can be distinguished from female by the following features: anal and genital shields coalesced posterodorsally, boundaries of the cells in the rosette not evident, setae f, h 1 and h 2 standing together as a cluster, the sixth pair of ventral setae set on pleural band, all tarsi with solenidion v„, body smaller.
