( Figs. 56, 57 View FIGURES 49–57 )

Diagnosis. Cyrtocapsus suturalis ( Figs. 56, 57 View FIGURES 49–57 ) is recognized by the overall brownish-orange dorsum, with the black calli and collar, the fuscous costal vein and claval suture, the fuscous thorax and abdomen, and the long labium that the extends to the bases of the middle coxae or slightly beyond.

This species appears most similar to C. nordestinus ( Figs. 42, 43 View FIGURES 40–48 ) in having an overall pale brown dorsum, with a basally fuscous costal vein and entirely fuscous claval suture. It differs from C. suturalis in a pale brown collar and calli (rather than black) and a pale brown undersurface (rather than fuscous to black).

Description. Holotype male ( Figs. 56, 57 View FIGURES 49–57 ): Length to apex of membrane 3.80 mm, length to base of cuneus 2.48 mm, widest width across hemelytra 1.54 mm. Head: Width 0.86 mm, interocular width 0.45 mm. Labium: Length 0.99 mm. Antenna: Segment I length 0.45 mm; II, 0.69 mm; III, 0.51 mm; IV, missing. Pronotum: Median length 0.88 mm, basal width 1.26 mm.

Coloration: Head brownish orange dorsally, sides of clypeus fuscous, undersurface pale yellowish white; eyes dark reddish brown. Labium pale yellowish white. Antenna uniformly pale yellowish white. Pronotum brown, more brownish orange through middle of disc, collar and calli black. Scutellum brownish orange, margined in black. Hemelytron brownish orange, with costal vein, claval suture, and narrow inner margin of clavus fuscous; cuneus slightly darker brown along inner margin; membrane clear, veins brown, inside of areole smoky brown. Undersurface of thorax, including ostiolar auricle black; abdomen dark brown, with margins of segments fuscous. Legs uniformly pale yellowish white.

Texture and vestiture: Head weakly shiny, rugose, and transversely striate on frons, with silvery sericeous, especially along inner margins of eyes, median line, and transversely across striations. Pronotum weakly shiny, disc evenly punctate, punctures finer on calli and collar, with silvery sericeous setae (setae on calli and collar rubbed and contaminated with a white residue). Hemelytron dull, impunctate, with scattered patches of short, slender, silvery, sericeous setae.

Male gentialia: Unique specimen not dissected.

Female: Unknown.

Etymology. The specific epithet “suturalis” is given to denote the distinctive fuscous claval suture of this species.

Host. Unknown.

Distribution. Known only from Honduras.
