Lectotype ( Tölken in J. S. African Bot. 38: 75. 1972): [icon] " Crassula Mesembryanthemi facie, foliis longioribus asperis" in Dillenius, Hort. Eltham. 1: 117, t. 99, f. 117. 1732.

Current name: Crassula scabra L. ( Crassulaceae ).

Note: Schonland (in Trans. Roy. Soc. S. Africa 17: 220. 1929) treated material in Herb. Sherard ( OXF) as the type. However, this was not studied by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name.
