Corynoptera robustior View in CoL sp. n.
Material examined. Holotype male: CANADA, Ontario, 7 mi E Griffiths, 16.vii.1989, B.E. Cooper ( CNC).
Description (male). Head: Eye bridge 3 facets wide. Prefrons with 13 setae, clypeus with 1 seta. Length/width of antennal flagellomere 4 2.0 ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 D). Palpomere 1 of maxillary palp with 1 seta. Thorax: Anterior pronotum with 1 seta, episternum 1 with 4 setae. Wing: Length 1.1 mm, width/length 0.45, c/ w 0.70, R1/R 0.45. Legs ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 E): Length of front basitarsomere/length of front tibia 0.50. Abdomen: Sternite 8 with 2 setae. Hypopygium ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 C, D): Sternite 10 with 1 seta on each half.
Female. Unknown.
