Specimens examined. El Aceitillar, Parque Nacional Bahoruco (Sierra de Bahoruco), 28-IX-2008, three females on Sagraea barahonensis (Urban & Ekman) Alain (Melastomataceae) View in CoL . Jarabacoa (Cordillera Central), 30-IX-2008, one female on Psidium guajava L. ( Myrtaceae View in CoL ); three females on Cecropia peltata View in CoL L. ( Cecropiaceae ).
Remarks. This species has previously been recorded from Brazil, Colombia, Guadeloupe, Hawaii ( USA), India, Jamaica, Marie-Galante, Martinique, Puerto Rico and Trinidad-Tobago. The measurements of five females collected agree well with the holotype and the data provided by Kreiter & Moraes (1997) for specimens from Martinique.
