Material examined. 1 male, labelled: ‘ASB/May2011/18 MADAGASCAR / Andasibe N.P.; 4.v.2011, 996m /´Ambatomandondona ´; sifting / forest litter under palm tree Wink- / ler app.extr. S18°55’49.5‘‘E48° / 25’36.5‘; L.S. Rahanitriniaina lgt’ (MMBC).
Remarks. A single male specimen was sifted from plant residues under a palm tree in Andasibe–Mantadia National Park (Andasibe part). After mounting it was compared with the holotype of R. elongata and was used for measuring of the body proportions, photographing and comparing with the male holotype of R. seraphinei sp. nov.
