Chiriqui: Loc. 17, 2450 m, 30890; 21, 1500–1570 m, 34398/ A , 34453/ C; 26, 34578 (EGR) , conf. Pócs, 34594/B; 32, 34701; 33, 34710, all epiphyllous.

A recently described species ( Pócs & Bernecker 2013), known from Venezuela (type), Bolivia, Costa Rica, and Panama (Veraguas and Chiriqui, paratype collections from localities 11 (30805, 30828), 18 (30937, 30940), and 20 (30984 )), from altitudes between 720–2300 m. The species seems to be rather common in Chiriqui province. The specimen 30890 represents a new altitudinal record .
