A scattered neotropical species, from Panama so far known from Darién province ( Ilkiu-Borges 2006). The specimen cited has been included in molecular studies (Heinrichs et al. 2014) .

A widespread neotropical species, so far known from Costa Rica, Cuba, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, and Trinidad ( He 1999).
