A rather scattered neotropical species, known from southeastern Brazil, Bolivia ( Reiner-Drehwald & Goda 2000), Colombia (Campos & Uribe-M. 2006), and Ecuador ( Schäfer-Verwimp et al. 2013); new to Central America.
