Remarks. Described from the Hawaiian Is. but no subsequent records are known from the archipelago.
Taxonomy. Crosnier (1984a)
Geographical distribution. Seychelles, Hawaiian Is., and presumably other locations in the Indo-West Pacific region.
Habitat. Shallow subtidal, 32–68 m.
