Frons golden yellow to slightly brownishyellow tomentose; lateral setae as long as scape+pedicel. Occiput yellowishgray tomentose with yellowish and white setae; seven to eight black postocular bristles present dorsally, latter short and thick, slightly arched forward with apex just above posterior margin of eye.

Thorax: Pronotum golden yellow tomentose; bristles yellow. Mesonotum with two brownish tomentose median stripes and two lateral spots, tomentum yellow to yellowishgray otherwise; setae long, mostly black, yellow on postpronotum, sides, and between dorsocentral bristles posteriorly; anterior setae about as long as scape; long dorsocentral setae and bristles extend forward to or just before transverse suture, longest setae 2/3 as long as first notopleural bristle; four lateral bristles present, one or two bristles per side yellow. Scutellum yellowishgray tomentose with pale setae and two yellow marginal bristles. Pleuron yellow to yellowishgray tomentose with yellow bristles and setae. Halter dull red.

Wing: As Fig. 3a View FIGURES 3–4 except as follows. Yellow microtrichose. Vein R 4 moderately arched forward basally. Cell m 1 narrow basally, much wider beyond with sides slightly diverging; vein m 1 strongly arched forward basally; m 1 WR 1.0:3.6:3.9.

Leg: Coxae and trochanter black, latter pale yellowishgray tomentose with yellowish to white vestiture. Fore femur entirely yellow, row of long, thin, yellow setae present ventrally; anterior preapical bristle yellow. Middle and hind femora yellow, narrow apex black. Middle femur anteriorly with black bristles on basal 2/3, yellow on apical 1/3; preapical, posteroventral bristle absent, long thin seta present. Hind femur with yellow bristles, one apical posteroventral and two anterior apical bristles sometimes black; HFWLR 1.0:4.1–1.0:4.3. Tibiae yellow with apex brown to black and mostly yellow bristles. Hind tibia without an apical tubercle. Tarsi mostly yellow, at least narrow apex brown; basal tarsomere yellow, narrow apex brown; all tarsi with two to four yellow bristles.

Abdomen: Mostly gray tomentose with white setae, terga 4 to 8 yellow to brownishyellow with sparse to abundant black setae medially. Apical corners of terga 3 to 7 with one stout pale yellow bristle.

Terminalia ( Figs. 35–40 View FIGURES 35–44 ): Reddish. Epandrium narrow apically, apex digitate in lateral view; narrowly notched dorsoapically. Gonostylus distinctive. Distiphallus horizontal, apex narrow, flared vertically; epiphallus unusually narrow apically, prominent earlike process present laterally, apex truncate; ejaculatory apodeme slightly thickened medially. Gonocoxite much longer, wider, and thicker than epandrium in lateral view, curved below epandrium apically, apex truncate. Hypandrium triangular, apex wide, Wshaped.

Female. Differs as follows: Body 9.7–10.3 mm; wing 6.0– 6.1 mm; FHWR 1.0:4.1– 1.0:4.6; FWLR 1.0:2.1; HFWLR 1.0:4.5. Thorax: Mesonotum with only two stout dorsocentral bristles posteriorly. Wing: Crossvein rm at or just beyond middle of cell d. Leg: Tarsi with most tarsomeres yellow basally; hind tarsus with only brown bristles. Abdomen: Apical segments with stout, yellow, and/or black bristles; Terminalia ( Figs. 41–44 View FIGURES 35–44 ): Reddish. Tergum 9 membranous dorsally, sclerotized laterally and ventrally.
