Type locality. Vietnam (Lam Dong: Da Lat).
Type material. MNHN (AE651 (A 709)), France.
Records from Vietnam. Thua Thien Hue (A Luoi; Phu Loc) ; Lam Dong (Da Lat: Langbian Mts) ; Binh Dinh ( Michaelsen 1934b; Nguyen 1994; Nguyen V. T. & Tran 2008).
Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.
Vietnamese name. Giun dawydov.
Remarks. The species has been only known from mountainous areas. Thai (1983) proposed a new subgenus Terrata of the genus Pheretima , and placed the species under the new subgenus. No material for examination was available.
