Type locality. Vietnam (Nghe An: Ky Son ).

Type material. SORC, Vietnam.

Examined material. 1 A (SORC-PV.071) Muong Long, Ky Son , Nghe An, 1/1/1986, coll. Tran Ba Cu .

Records from Vietnam. Nghe An (Ky Son) ; Hanoi (Ba Vi NP) ( Thai & Tran 1986; Do 1994; Huynh & Nguyen 2004a).

Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.

Vietnamese name. Giun mường lống.

Remarks. Blakemore (2007a) stated its status as " species inquirenda ". Material was re-examined and presence of male copulatory pouches and hence placement of the species in Metaphire is confirmed here.
