Type locality. China (Ihsing, Kiangsu).

Type material. ZMNU (No. 554–556), China.

Examined material. 1 C (SORC-V.147.01) forest at the elevation of 800m a.s.l., Tam Dao NP, Vinh Phuc, 2/ 8/1984.

Distribution. China ( Chen 1933).

Vietnamese name. Giun vành trắng.

Remarks. Blakemore (2007a, 2008b) considered it as " species inquirenda ". Material was re-examined and absence of male copulatory pouches and hence placement of the species in Amynthas is confirmed here.
