Amynthas abrevicapitatus ( Thai & Le, 1993)

Type locality. Vietnam (Hai Phong: Cat Ba Isl. ).

Type material. SORC, Vietnam.

Records from Vietnam. Hai Phong ( Cat Ba Isl. ) ( Thai & Le 1993).

Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.

Remarks. The species is fairly similar to Amynthas brevicapitatus (Thai, 1984) in having two pairs of spermathecal pores in intersegments 7/8/9, more or less same number of pre- and post-clitellar setae, prostatic duct S-shaped. However, it can be recognised by smaller body, prolobous prostomium, the absence of genital markings in spermathecal and male regions, spermathecal ampulla ellipsoid-shaped, and diverticula very short. The species was found inside decaying woods ( Thai & Le 1993).
