Type species. Octochaetus bishambari Stephenson, 1914 , by original designation. Distribution. India with the range of the type species extended by transportation. Remarks. Only one species has been reported from Vietnam.

Distribution. A cosmopolitan species, reported from India, Myanmar, Philippines, Andaman, Christmas Isl. (Australian territory) ( Blakemore 2002).

Vietnamese name. Giun ramiella bishambar.
